The world is getting smaller every day and InterAmerican Workshop Inc. believes that we all need to help make it a better, more understanding, place.  IAW projects are open to people of all ages and nationalities and include volunteer and travel programs, virtual participation (writing, editing, photo submission etc) as well as financial contributions.

Mission:

The InterAmerican Workshop Inc. is a global non-profit, tax exempt, educational organization whose mission is to increase awareness of different cultures through study and understanding.

Objectives:

Since the early 1970's the objectives of the InterAmerican Workshop Inc. have been:

  •  to encourage communication between peoples and organizations of differing cultures
  •  to survey and track issues affecting multicultural understanding
  •  to identify matters of concern for the international community
  •  to research options and incorporate others in problem resolution
  •  to help institutions and agencies design and implement programs promoting cross-cultural understanding
  •  to engage peoples of all cultures in the training of others
