Cultural Ambassadors

Project overview:

Students at tableAs you may well know, there are programs around the world that teach language and culture and offer volunteer options and internships. These universities, institutes and cultural centers welcome people from all walks of like. They often cannot afford to market and recruit as much as they would like, so IAW offers to spread the word about their programs. At universities throughout North America, IAW volunteers share information and collect student contacts. We then send them around the world to the appropriate training centers. The foreign center contacts the interested student and a match is made!

If you are interested in helping us in this effort, please let us know.  There are many opportunities to do so.  Organizations from Argentina to Zimbabwe rely on people like you!

Time committment:

Most of the events require from 2 to 4 hours on one day only.   If you are interested in doing more than one day, let us know and we'll see what additional opportunties are open close by.

Complete the on-line participation form, and we will contact you with more information.

If you are interested in volunteering as a Cultural Ambassador, please send us an email listing the city and date that works for you.  Opportunties are often also listed on Volunteer Match.
