Who needs to know?While you may know the benefits of international and crosscultural awareness and understanding, there are many people and organizations that lack the resources and tools to expand their knowledge and experiences. Who Needs to Know Project Description: We are looking to broaden our list of end users that we feel would greatly benefit from learning about immersion options. There are many organizations that have little or no idea how easy it is to immerse oneself in another language or culture. Due to the nature of their work or involvement people may want to explore options for foreign study, but don't know where to start. This project involves gathering information on people and places that logically want/need to know about language and cultural immersion opportunities. Time Commitment: This project can take anywhere from 20 minutes to 20 hours. How to Participate: If you know of any media, web search engines, portals, user groups, educational institutions, businesses, clubs, government agencies, nonprofit organization or even your nephew or neighbor that you feel should know about the myriad of opportunities to learn about other cultures through immersion, please let us know! We will give you a short, easy way to send us the details, including name, organization or group, description, web address, e-mail. telephone, profile of users etc. Your suggestions can be culture/country/language specific, aimed at a certain age group or profession/interest group (medical, business, education, art etc.) Please include your full name, e-mail address(es) in your e-mail message. |
